At AgriPest Management, we’re passionate about protecting both our customers and our native honey bees. Today, we successfully removed and safely relocated another established honey bee colony from a beautiful estate just outside South Cave.

The colony had been living within the property’s chimney stack for a considerable period of time. To gain safe access to the bees and ensure they could be removed without unnecessary harm, a section of the chimney and stack had to be carefully dismantled.

The homeowners had been experiencing an unusual problem, with around 30 to 50 honey bees regularly entering the wrong chimney pot and finding their way into the living room. While honey bees are generally non-aggressive, having dozens of bees entering your home is understandably concerning and requires a specialist approach.

Our experienced team carefully removed the colony before relocating the bees to a suitable new home, allowing them to continue their important role as pollinators while resolving the issue for the property owners.
