Honey bees
AgriPest have visited several properties this week that each have large colonies of honey bees that require re homing.
Honey bees play a pivotal role within our ecosystem but unfortunately these colonies can cause significant issues within a domestic environment.
One hive can produce upto 30kg of honey, this honey comb will often be built on plaster board causing significant pressures on the building’s structure.
AgriPest utilise the latest thermal and camera technology to locate hives ensuring successful extraction. Once removed the bee colonies are relocated allowing them to continue with their vital activities.
It is incredibly important to contact a reputable company when dealing with a honey bee colony.
Many of the bee colonies we visit can be left in situ as they pose minimal risk to the property but if you are unsure or require professional advice please get in contact with us.
